Rick Santorum today dropped out of the GOP race for president and minutes ago on Fox News announced he is endorsing Marco Rubio. The former Pennsylvania Senator who hasn’t won an election in 15 years could have embraced Trump or Cruz, but chose the Florida Senator, whom he called a “tremendously gifted young man,” “the new generation,” and a “born leader.”
