Man Charged With Randomly Shooting Six People To Death Saturday Night Arraigned In Michigan

“No Rhyme, No Reason”: Jason Dalton charged with six counts of murder, eight counts of firearms charges, after he allegedly drove his Uber car around and randomly shot six people to death.

According to prosecutors Uber driver Jason Dalton, 45, drove around Saturday night and shot and killed six people. There is no known relationship between Dalton and the victims – among them, a father and his 17-year old son looking at cars at a dealership. Five others were shot at a Cracker Barrel restaurant parking lot, four died. In between the shootings Dalton allegedly picked up and drove around at least one Uber customer.

A mother of three was shot ten times, she amazingly survived as has a 14-year old girl. Both are holding on to life.

Kalamazoo County Prosecutor Jeff Getting Monday afternoon filed six charges of murder, two of attempted murder, and eight counts of using a firearm during the commission of a felony. Dalton remained silent throughout the hearing. The judge has denied bail.

“This is every community’s nightmare — when you have someone going around just randomly killing people, no rhyme, no reason,” Getting had said on Sunday.
