Trump Challenged With Proof He Supported Iraq War: ‘Who Knows What Was in My Head?’
On “Meet The Press” Sunday morning, Donald Trump was challenged by NBC News host Chuck Todd to explain his support for the Iraq War in a 2002 interview, after claiming for almost a year now that he opposed the Iraq War.
Trump was hard-pressed to offer a response, concluding, “I really don’t even know what I mean because it was a long time ago, and who knows what was in my head.”
Trump was flip-flopping on his earlier claim that President George H.W. Bush (Bush 41) had done a poor job of prosecuting the first Iraq War.
