GOP Frontrunner Takes Palmetto State Despite Governor’s Endorsement Of Marco Rubio
Donald Trump is the projected winner of the South Carolina primary, according to NBC News. Trump currently has 33% f the GOP vote. The GOP frontrunner who won New Hampshire after losing in Iowa came out with a strong showing in today’s vote.
NBC makes the report with just 1% of the votes counted and reported. Given that, Marco Rubio currently is in second place, with 22%, and Ted Cruz in third, with 21%.
UPDATE I: 7:45 PM EST –
MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough reports exit polls found three out of four SC primary voters were evangelical voters.
That should alarm the Cruz and Rubio campaigns.
