Adele Warns Donald Trump: You Don’t Have Permission To Play My Music

Superstar award-winning singer and songwriter Adele has a few words for Donald Trump.

Donald Trump is a big fan of Adele, and even attended her Madison Square Garden concert in November.

The GOP frontrunner has been playing Adele’s music at his rallies, including reportedly “Rolling in the Deep” and “Skyfall.”

But now the superstar British singer-songwriter has had enough.

“Adele has not given permission for her music to be used for any political campaigning,” an Adele spokesperson told CNN in a statement.

Adele’s spokesperson would not state if she has specifically asked Trump to stop using her music.

Benny Tarantini told CNN, “we have no further comment.”

This is not the first time Trump has been in hot water for using copyrighted music at his rallies without permission.

In October Aerosmith gave Trump 24 hours to “cease and desist” using their music.

In September, Michael Stipe, lead singer for the alternative rock band R.E.M., attacked Trump for using the band’s famous “It’s the End of the World As We Know It (And I Feel Fine)” song at a Tea Party rally.

“Go fuck yourselves, the lot of you—you sad, attention grabbing, power hungry little men,” Stipe said via Twitter. “Do not use our music or my voice for your moronic charade of a campaign.”
