New Executive Order Expected To Close Gun Show Loophole And Infuriate Republicans

President Barack Obama at about 11:40 AM EST will hold a live press event to announce he will sign an executive order to curb gun violence and close the gun show loophole, an action which 90 percent of Americans support.
“Sympathy is not enough to stop gun violence,” the White House says. “Congress has repeatedly failed to take action, blocking commonsense reforms supported by the vast majority of the American people – including gun owners themselves.”
“The President has a responsibility to do everything in his power to reduce gun violence. This week, he will.”
