Trump: ‘You Won’t Be Able To Get Guns’ After Obama Signs Executive Order (Video)

GOP Frontrunner Fear-Mongers On Issue 90 Percent Of Americans Support

President Barack Obama will soon sign an executive order that likely will close the “gun show loophole,” something 90 percent of Americans want done. A small minority of Senate Republicans in 2013 defeated a bill that would have done just that. 

Today, Donald Trump falsely claimed on CNN that after President Obama signs the executive order – which has yet to be finalized and has not been made public – Americans will no longer be able to buy guns.

“Pretty soon you won’t be able to get guns,” Trump told “New Day” co-host Chris Cuomo. “It’s another step in the way of not getting guns.”

Of course, Trump is fear-mongering to his base, and making a false claim, and he knows it but doesn’t care.

On average, “seven children and teens under the age of 20 are killed by guns every day,” the Brady Campaign reports. “On average, 31 Americans are murdered with guns every day and 151 are treated for a gun assault in an emergency room.”
