Secretary Palin? Trump Says ‘There Would Certainly Be A Role’ For Her In His Administration (Video)
Trump Says Palin Asked For Nothing For Her Endorsement
A few months ago Sarah Palin made clear she’d like a Cabinet position in a Donald Trump administration.Â
“I think a lot about the Department of Energy, because energy is my baby: oil and gas and minerals, those things that God has dumped on this part of the Earth for mankind’s use instead of us relying on unfriendly foreign nations,” she told CNN.
Secretary Palin?
Wednesday morning Trump told NBC’s Today show that Palin could “certainly” play a role in his administration, although exactly what he hasn’t thought about.

“I haven’t discussed it with her. No, I haven’t discussed anything with her about what she’d do, but she’s somebody I really like and I respect. And certainly, she could play a position if she wanted to,” Trump said.
Vice President Palin?
“I mean, I don’t think she’d want to do it, and I really don’t get into it right now because — that question is always asked of me, who do you have in mind,” Trump said, sidestepping the question. “And I don’t even think about VP right now, and I just want to win. I’ve always been a closer, I get the deal done, I have to win before I start thinking about that.”
Calling Palin’s endorsement “an honor,” Trump touted that “as you know, very badly, so many people are so disappointed that she didn’t support them.”
“But certainly there’d be a role in the administration if she wanted, and I’m not sure that she does want that. But there’d certainly be a role.”
