Here’s Bernie Sanders Doctor’s Note: ‘You Are In Overall Very Good Health’

Doesn’t Smoke, Uses Alcohol ‘Infrequently’

Bernie Sanders today, as promised during the Democratic Forum, released a letter from his doctor detailing his health. Senate attending physician Dr. Brian P. Monahan, states Sanders is “in overall very good health and active in your professional work, and recreational lifestyle without limitation.” Monahan is a board-certified physician who Sanders has seen for 26 years.

“You are in overall very good health and active in your professional work, and recreational lifestyle without limitation,” Dr. Monahan writes in the letter dated January 20:

“Should Sanders win the White House,” Politico notes, “he would be 75 upon his inauguration, making him the oldest president the U.S. has ever elected.”

During Monday’s Democratic Forum, Sanders said, “I have been blessed with good health and good endurance.”

“And there’s nothing in the medical records that is going to surprise anybody. And we will get them out as soon as possible.”

Clinton’s physician in July reported she “is in excellent physical condition and fit to serve as President of the United States.”

Of course, no one could beat Donald Trump’s doctor’s note.

Donald Trump “will be the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency,” if he wins, Trump’s doctor stated. “His physical strength and stamina are extraordinary,” Dr. Harold N. Bornstein wrote.
