LISTEN: Cruz Challenges Trump To One-On-One Debate ‘If Donald Is Terrified’ Of ‘TV Host’ Megyn Kelly
After Trump Boycotts Fox Debate Number Two Cruz Challenges Frontrunner To Debate ‘Mano-A-Mano’
Ted Cruz Tuesday night challenged Donald Trump to a one-on-one debate after Trump announced he is boycotting Thursday’s Fox News debate. The Texas Tea Party Republican Senator told ultra-conservative talk radio show host Mark Levin that “if Donald is afraid of Megyn Kelly, I would like to invite him on your show to participate in a one-on-one debate.” Cruz also offered Trump his choice of moderators, or no moderator at all, just, “mano-a-mano,” if Trump is “afraid” of other potential moderators, like Sean Hannity or Rush Limbaugh.
Cruz said he’s be “happy” to debate Trump fro 90 minutes “anytime before the Iowa caucuses.”

Later in the program Cruz taunted Trump even more.
“I’d like to hear Donald explain to the American people,” Cruz teased, “how he is prepared to be Commander in Chief if he’s terrified by a television host.”
