Fox Announces Lineup For GOP Debate – Trump Announces He Will Boycott

GOP Frontrunner Skipping Fox News Debate Because ‘Biased’ Megyn Kelly Does Not Treat Him ‘Fairly’

Thursday evening the Republican debate stage will have eight podiums – but only seven candidates. Fox News tonight announced the lineup for the main stage debate and the undercard debate. GOP frontrunner Donald Trump has been teasing he might not participate in the debate, citing his belief that Fox News host and debate moderator Megyn Kelly is “biased” and doesn’t treat him fairly.

Asked on CNN Monday if he would participate, Trump said he “likely” would, but refused to commit.

“If I think I’m going to be treated unfairly I’ll do something else. But I don’t think she can treat me fairly, actually. I think she’s very biased and I don’t think she can treat me fairly.”

After Trump today on Twitter polled followers to see if he should attend, Fox News issued a trolling statement mocking Trump.

But Trump’s campaign manager Corey Lewandowski now says Trump is “definitely not” participating in Thursday’s debate.

“After the press conference,” The Washington Post reports, Trump’s campaign manager Corey Lewandowski “confirmed…that Trump would ‘definitely not’ participate in Thursday’s Fox News debate.”

“He’s definitely not participating in the Fox News debate,” Lewandowski added. “His word is his bond.”
