Breaking: Kim Davis Will Attend President Obama’s State Of The Union Address

Anti-gay Kentucky county clerk Kim Davis will attend the President’s final State of the Union Address.

Seated in the First Lady’s box Tuesday night in the House chamber will be two LGBT activists, Jim Obergefell and Ryan Reyes. Obergefell of course is the Ohio man whose case before the U.S. Supreme Court delivered the right of marriage to same-sex couples. Reyes is the partner of Larry “Daniel” Kaufman, who died in last month’s San Bernardino terror attack while saving the lives of four people.

Seated somewhere below them will be a woman who worked arduously for a year to obtain special rights to not have to do her job, issue marriage licenses to all couples regardless of gender. Kim Davis was unsuccessful in her mission, and spent five nights in jail for contempt of court, before the new governor of Kentucky issued an executive order granting her wish.

UPDATE: Guess Which Ultra-Conservative Congressman Invited Kim Davis To The SOTU?

Along with Davis will be her attorney, Mat Staver, the head of the certified anti-gay hate group Liberty Counsel.

The news of Davis’ attendance comes from another anti-gay hate group, the Family Research Council, and was published in the Washington Examiner Monday night. Davis and Staver will likely come as the guests of one or two Republican Members of Congress.
