Breaking: After Voting 62 Times, The GOP House Just Sent A Bill To Repeal Obamacare To Obama’s Desk
In one of the most symbolically impotent gestures ever, Republicans are finally able to send President Barack Obama a bill to repeal Obamacare.
House Republicans voted for the first time in 2016 just minutes ago, passing legislation to repeal Obamacare and to defund Planned Parenthood. The bill, which would dramatically harm reproductive healthcare for millions of women and destroy Barack Obama’s signature legislation, right now is headed to the President’s desk, where it will be immediately vetoed.
The President has repeatedly said he will veto any bill that defunds Planned Parenthood or repeals the Affordable Care Act.

Stunningly, after 62 votes, it is the first time Republicans have been able to get a bill to repeal Obamacare to the president’s desk.
The bill passed the House 240-181:

Who was the sole Democrat to vote for the bill? Rep. Collin Peterson of Minnesota:

Meanwhile, there is only one person who can actually be proud of this “achievement”: The new Speaker of the House:

UPDATE:
Hillary Clinton so far is the only Democratic presidential candidate to comment on Twitter:
If any of the GOP candidates were president today, Planned Parenthood would now be defunded & the ACA repealed. We can’t let that happen. -H
