‘F*cking Kidding?’: Daily Show Rips Fox News’ Claims Obama Cried Fake Tears Over Kids Shot To Death

“Daily Show” host Trevor Noah rips Fox News hosts to shreds for saying President Obama crying this week over kids shot to death was fake.

The nation this week saw The Leader of the Free World shed tears as he spoke of the 20 first grade children who were shot to death in 2012 at the Sandy Hook Elementary School. President Barack Obama was announcing his executive actions to curb gun violence in America, and after going through a list of mass shootings, could no longer contain his grief when he got to the Connecticut massacre.

But Fox News has been claiming that the President’s tears were fake.

“Outnumbered” co-host Andrea Tantaros, not surprisingly, was the greatest offender on Tuesday.

“I would check that podium for like a raw onion or some No More Tears,” Tantaros stated. “It’s not really believable,” she insisted. “And the award goes to… we are in awards season.”

“The Daily Show” Wednesday night took Tantaros and her fellow Fox News hosts to task.

No matter how opposed to Obama’s policies people may be or how cynical their politics they have to at least acknowledge and respect the raw authenticity of that emotion,” host Trevor Noah said. “Or so you would think.”

He then plyed a series of clips showing Fox News hosts mocking and denigrating President Obama’s tears, finishing with the clip of Tantaros.

“Are you fucking kidding me?” Noah said, in shock. “Shedding tears when you think of murdered children is not really believable? You know what? There is something here that’s not really believable: The fact that the rest of us have to share the title of human being with you.”
