Jimmy Kimmel took a rare political stand with Donald Trump, lampooning him for his attacks on Muslims, and even his doctor’s note.
Donald Trump sat down with ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Wednesday night and discussed a wide range of issues, from his proposal to ban Muslims from entering the U.S. to his curious doctor’s note.
“Isn’t it un-American and wrong to discriminate against people based on their religion?†Kimmel straight-up asked Trump about his plan to ban all Muslims from entering America.
The GOP frontrunner insisted “we have a problem” and said, “these people did not come from Sweden,” ignoring the fact that there are Muslims in Sweden.
Ironically, Trump said, “there’s a tremendous hatred out there.”
“I’ve had so many people call me and say thank you,†Trump insisted the people who have called to thank him agree we have a problem.
“Those may have been crank calls,” Kimmel retorted. “Did you check the caller I.D.?”Â
Trump disagreed that his attacks on Muslims helps ISIS recruit.Â
