Campaign Ad Shows The America Ted Cruz Values: Christian Crosses, Ten Commandments And Guns (Video)

‘Defended The Cross. And Won.’ New Ad Portrays Cruz As Defender Of Theocratic Christian America.

Before Ted Cruz won his U.S. Senate seat in 2012, he was the Solicitor General of Texas, and an associate deputy attorney general at the U.S. Department of Justice.

GOP presidential candidate Ted Cruz just released an ad touting his legal accomplishments, presumably as he has been able to pass only one bill while in the Senate, and that was not a controversial one.

The 30-second spot, produced for the Iowa market, has no spoken words, just text:

Defended the cross. And won.

Protected the Ten Commandments. And won.

Fought for the Second Amendment. And won.

Stood up for the Pledge of Allegiance. And won.

Washington Post national political correspondent David Weigel calls the ad “Ted Cruz’s definition of winning,” which proves that the Texas Tea Party Senator sees America as a Christian theocracy.
