CNN has just announced who will be on the prime-time debate stage, and Mike Huckabee has been downgraded.
Tuesday night the main GOP debate stage will not have Mike Huckabee on it. CNN has just announced the lineup for the fifth official Republican debate of the 2016 race in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Donald Trump, Ben Carson, Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz, Jeb Bush, John Kasich, Carly Fiorina, Rand Paul, and Chris Christie all made the cut. Rand Paul, some predicted, might not make it to the main debate this time but he will appear in the main debate.
There will still be a second-tier, or “undercard” debate, and Huckabee will appear there earlier Tuesday evening, along with Rick Santorum, Lindsey Graham, and George Pataki.
