Bernie Sanders Wins TIME Person Of The Year Poll, Kim Davis Comes In Almost Last

The results of the TIME magazine Person of the Year Readers Poll are a fascinating snapshot of America.

The results are in. America has voted. Bernie Sanders has won the TIME magazine Person of the Year Readers’ Poll. TIME will announce their choice for Person of the Year on Wednesday.

Sanders beat a huge list of national and world players, including Adele, Vladimir Putin, Malala Yousafzai (who came in second), and Pope Francis (who came in third.)

But it’s interesting to note Sanders also beat his political opponents, including Donald Trump (#19), Hillary Clinton (#29), Marco Rubio (#37), Ben Carson (#40), Carly Fiorina (#53), Ted Cruz (#55), and Jeb Bush (#56).

And yes, Kim Davis, despite a campaign by the anti-gay hate groups and the religious right, came in at number 54.
