Watch: Colbert Mocks ‘NostraDonald’

Stephen Colbert takes a shot a Donald Trump, mocking him for reading the news and “predicting” events.

Tuesday night Stephen Colbert took a bit of a different approach with Donald Trump, mocking the GOP frontrunner for several comments the GOP frontrunner has made.

Take Trump’s repeated assertion (read: lie) that he saw news reports on TV showing video of “thousands and thousands” of Muslim Americans in New Jersey dancing in the streets, celebrating on 9/11 when the Twin Towers fell.

Never happened.

Colbert showed a clip of NBC’s Katy Tur saying that Trump called her to say he’s sure it happened and he saw it because he has “‘the world’s greatest memory.”

“He can’t remember where he saw that video,” Colbert quipped, “but he can remember that he has the world’s greatest memory.”

The “Late Show” host then mocked Trump for bragging about a book he wrote “predicting” the rise of Osama bin Laden.

“I wrote a book in 2000. And in the book I mention Osama bin Laden,” Trump tells his audience in a clip. “I said, ‘bad guy, he’s going to do damage to our country,'” Trump said.

Colbert then mocked Trump, detailing all the new that had been published about bin Laden for years before Trump’s 2000 book “predicting” bin Laden would act against America, since he many times before had.

“How spooky. It’s like Trump has some sort of fifth sense that lets him see what’s in newspapers.”
