Trump Suggests Starbucks Boycott, Promises America Will All Be Saying ‘Merry Christmas’ If Elected

Donald Trump turned Starbucks’ controversial Holiday red cups into red meat for his audience Monday night.

Jumping on the outrage Christian conservatives are voicing over Starbucks new Holiday plain red cup, Monday night Donald Trump suggested boycotting the coffee giant and promised to kick them out of his prestigious Trump Tower. The on-again-off-again GOP frontrunner, currently trailing Ben Carson by one point in the latest polls, also promised that all of America will be saying “Merry Christmas” if he is elected president.

“Did you read about Starbucks?” Trump asked his audience. “No more ‘Merry Christmas’ at Starbucks. No more,” he announced, to booing.

“Maybe we should boycott Starbucks,” he suggested, telling the audience that the international coffee merchant operates “one of the most successful Starbucks,” in Trump Tower. “I don’t know. Seriously. I don’t care. By the way: That’s the end of that lease. But who cares? Who cares? Who cares?!”

“If I become president, we’re all going to be saying ‘Merry Christmas’ again. That I can tell you. That I can tell you! Unbelievable.”

Over the weekend former pastor Joshus Feuerstein, an anti-gay gun toting professional attention grabber, posted a hyperbolic video to Facebook accusing Starbucks of banning employees from saying “Merry Christmas.” He also said Starbucks “hates Jesus” because they removed winter icons from their Holiday coffee cups this year, making them just plain red.

His video has now been viewed over 14 million times.
