Ted Cruz: Obama Administration Support For Transgender Teens Is ‘Lunacy’
Conservative Christian and GOP presidential candidate Ted Cruz has harsh words for Obama’s support of transgender teens at school.
Republican U.S. Senator Ted Cruz spoke with right wing pundit Steven Crowder this week and slammed the Obama administration’s support of transgender teens in public schools.Â
After patting himself on the back for making comments about immigrants and Syrian refugees so outrageous President Barack Obama felt compelled to call him and other GOP presidential candidates out on their hypocrisy, Cruz continued his attacks on immigrants and Syrian refugees.
Crowder supportively stepped in to bash the Obama administration, saying, “we’re talking about a generation of people who get offended if you use the genetically proper pronouns.”

Cruz took the bait, seeing a two-for-one bashing opportunity.
“Look, these guys are so nutty that the federal government is going after school districts, trying to force them to let boys shower with little girls,” Cruz claimed, speaking of the Obama administration’s support of a Virginia transgender teenaged boy who is suing for his right to use the boys’ room at school.
“Now listen,” Cruz continued his lecture. “I’m the father of two daughters, and the idea that the federal government is coming in saying that boys, with all the god-given equipment of boys, can be in the shower room with junior high girls – this is lunacy!”
“You know, the funny thing is, my five-year-old knows there’s a difference between boys and girls. And yet modern Leftists can’t figure that out.”
AmericaBlog’s Jon Green notices that the “irony here is that trans teens are acutely aware of the difference between being a boy and being a girl, and how harmful it is when people like Ted Cruz insist they’re wrong.”
