Pat Robertson Predicts God Will Inflict ‘Massive Financial Collapse’ Now That ‘Sodomites’ Can Marry

Pat Robertson, whose own net worth is estimated to be several hundred million dollars, fears a collapse of financial collapse now that Americans have “enshrined sodomy into the United States Constitution.”

“700 Club” creator Pat Robertson has an estimated net worth of several hundred million to $1 billion, but today the octogenarian televangelist warned that a “massive financial collapse” would be visited upon America by God, now that same-sex marriage is legal.

Citing the biblical story of Sodom and Gomorrah, Robertson told his viewers that America has “enshrined sodomy into the United States Constitution,” and he mentioned the Houston HERO ordinance voters will decide upon tomorrow.

Robertson claimed HERO will “force women to go into men’s bathrooms and men to go into women’s bathrooms, and we’re going to blur the identity of the sexes because of this stuff,” which is about as blatant a stretch as has been uttered about the nondiscrimination ordinance.

“It’s insanity!,” he cried.

“Now it’s a constitutional right for sodomites to marry each other,” Robertson proclaimed, “the wrath of God is revealed against this stuff.”

“I don’t want the wrath of God to hit this country, it’s a great country, I’d like to see America continue strong, but this is one way of weakening it. First of all, we’re going to have this financial collapse. We’re setting up for a massive financial collapse and I think if God is going to hurt this country that’s probably the way he’d do it.”
