Huckabee Doesn’t Know Any Pro-Life Leader Who’s Suggested Violence Toward Planned Parenthood (Video)

In a very carefully worded statement, Mike Huckabee tells CNN he’s unaware of any anti-abortion activists who have suggested violence toward Planned Parenthood’s personnel.

Memo to Donald Trump, who claims he has one of the greatest memories of all time, or something: Sometimes having a bad memory can be helpful if you’re a politician.

Take Mike Huckabee, who Sunday told CNN’s Brianna Keilar that he’s unaware of any anti-abortion activist who has ever suggested taking violent action against Planned Parenthood personnel.

Here’s the quote:

“I don’t know any pro-life leader, any––if you can tell me one, please correct me––but I don’t know of anybody who has suggested violence toward Planned Parenthood personnel.”

Convenient he added “personnel” in his well-crafted statement.

But “suggested” can mean many things, right?

Do months and months of lies given faux credence by fraudulent Planned Parenthood videos and then amplified on Fox News and in the right-wing media amount to a suggestion that someone take action against Planned Parenthood?

What about these tweets (thanks to Charles Johnson of Little Green Footballs for highlighting them on Twitter), from the creator of the Planned Parenthood videos, The Center for Medical Progress, which has the hashtag  in its bio?

Daleiden is the founder of The Center for Medical Progress.

Here’s what Johnson just posted to Twitter:

Or how about Senator Ted Cruz, who this past week gleefully posted a press release touting an endorsement he just received from Troy Newman, a man who has argued that the killing of doctors who provide abortions should be justifiable homicide?

Newman happens to sit on the boards of several anti-abortion groups, including that of The Center for Medical Progress.

“We need leaders like Troy Newman in this country who will stand up for those who do not have a voice,” Cruz, enjoying a recent jump in the polls putting him at striking distance with Donald Trump, said in his statement.

Then, of course, what about Carly Fiorina‘s comments?

To his credit, Huckabee did denounce Friday’s attack as “domestic terrorism,” something many refuse to do.

If Mike Huckabee doesn’t “know of” any “pro-life leader…who has suggested violence toward Planned Parenthood personnel,” maybe he should get his memory checked?

Like many on the right are fond of saying, we’re just asking questions. Right?
