‘Definitive No’: ABC Bans Two Men Dancing To Love Song On ‘Dancing With The Stars’

Two men will not be allowed to dance to a love song after network brass at ABC gave a “definitive no.”

Different-sex dancing couples are applauded for “sinfully sensual” performances that are “steamier than an erupting volcano” on ABC’s “Dancing With The Stars,” but a same-sex couple dancing to a song about two men falling in love has been banned by the network.

Later this month gay artist Jake Hagood, who is better known as Who Is Fancy, will perform his new song, “Boys Like You,” with Ariana Grande and Meghan Trainor. Hagood’s choreographer emailed a DWTS producer, saying, it would “be an awesome look to have 2 males dancing with each other,” according to TMZ.

“Apologies all but this is a definitive no from the network,” was the response.

TMZ notes ABC has refused to comment “but a high-level source tells us, ‘Creative conversations are ongoing about the dance number.'”
