Watch: SNL Hysterically Mocks Kim Davis, Josh Duggar In Miley Cyrus Sung Farewell To Summer Song

Miley Cyrus sang “My Way” as the cast of “Saturday Night Live” satirized the summer of 2015’s scandalous viral newsmakers.

The 41st season premiere of “Saturday Night Live” was hosted by singer and actress Miley Cyrus, whose opening monologue paid “tribute,” in a way, to the stories and scandals that rocked the summer of 2015.

Cyrus appeared on stage in a fabulous retro-inspired flower power dress and matching hat, and said “goodbye, to all those who made this summer, what it was.”

Noting, “we’ll never think of these people ever, ever again,” Cyrus deadpanned, “they certainly did this summer, their way.”

As Cyrus sang Sinatra’s “My Way,” the SNL cast portrayed Rachel Dolezal, who “claimed to be black for 20 years,” Dr. Walter Palmer, “the dentist who killed Cecil the Lion,” a pope-grabbing Kim Davis, price-gouging HIV/cancer drug CEO Martin Shkreli of Turing Pharmaceuticals, Pizza Rat, Lenny Kravitz’s “junk,” and former Subway spokesman Jared Fogel, who conveniently morphed into Josh Duggar, and others.
