What Time Does Tonight’s GOP Presidential Debate Start? Can I Watch Online?

The third Republican presidential debate is tonight. Here’s everything you need to know about what time it starts, and your options for watching.

Tonight, Wednesday, October 28, 2015 the third Republican presidential debate will be held at the Coors Event Center at the University of Colorado in Boulder. The event will be called, “Your Money, Your Vote,” and will focus on the economy. 

There will be two debates. The first will be for the lower-tier candidates who did not meet CNBC’s polling threshold. That will begin at 6:00 PM EDT.

The second, prime-time main debate will begin at 8:00 PM EDT and last for two hours.

CNBC anchors John Harwood, Carl Quintanilla, and Becky Quick will moderate both debates.

You can watch the debate on cable TV on CNBC. Check here for your local cable channel.

You can also watch online via CNBC.com, but you must verify your cable subscription or have a CNBC PRO membership. You can also use the CNBC Real Time mobile app, or view via the CNBC Apple TV app. 

If you have a SiriusXM radio subscription you can listen on CNBC’s channel 112.

For tonight’s first debate at 6 PM, Lindsey Graham, Bobby Jindal, George Pataki, and Rick Santorum will battle it out.

For the main event at 8:00 PM, the candidates (in polling order) are Donald Trump, Marco Rubio, Jeb Bush, Carly Fiorina, Ted Cruz, Mike Huckabee, Chris Christie, John Kasich, and Rand Paul.
