Here’s the full video of SNL’s spoof of the Democratic debate, and Bernie Sanders responding to Larry David’s epic portrayal of him.

Last night for the cold open Saturday Night Live brought in former SNL writer and the Emmy Award winning co-creator of Seinfeld, Larry David, to play Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders.

By all accounts, it was epic.

“Not a fan of the banks. They trample on the middle class. They control Washington, and why do they chain all their pens to the desks? Who’s trying to steal a pen from a bank? Makes no sense!” 

What did Bernie Sanders think?

On ABC’s “This Week,” Sanders had great praise for Larry David’s portrayal of him.

“I think we’ll use Larry at our next rally. He does better than I do.”
