Watch Live Now: Will Huckabee’s Protest Rally Include Kim Davis Speaking? (Video)
Kim Davis is about to walk out of jail to hundreds of right wing conservative supporters, including Mike Huckabee. Will she deliver a speech? Will she stand her ground and continue to ignore the judge’s order?
Mike Huckabee organized a rally to protest the jailing of Rowan County clerk Kim Davis this afternoon. Hundreds have massed in front of the Carter County Detention Center, expecting to attend a protest rally and hear the ordained Baptist minister preach his unique brand of gospel that includes a false explanation of American jurisprudence.
But as Huckabee and Sen. Ted Cruz were expected to enter the jail to meet with Davis, Judge Bunning ordered her release.
Now Huckabee will have a less angered crowd to deal with.
But the big questions now are will Davis speak to her hundreds of supporters, and what will she say?
Judge Bunning’s order states clearly she cannot interfere with the issuance of marriage licenses. Will she agree? If she does interfere, she likely will be thrown back in jail.
What will she tell supporters?
Watch above.
