This may be one of the most vicious and calculated responses Donald Trump has ever made – and that’s saying a lot.
Moments ago Donald Trump, fresh off his poor performance at the second GOP presidential debate Wednesday night, spoke to supporters in Rochester, New Hampshire. The brash billionaire frontrunner took a question from a supporter, and rather than have the statesmanship or courage to tell the voter he was not only wrong, but offensively so, Trump went along with the man’s xenophobia.
“We have a problem in this country, it’s called Muslims. We know our current president is one,” the voter says.
“Right,” Trump responds.
“You know he’s not even an American,” the Trump supporter insists.
“We need this question,” Trump interrupted.
“But anyway, we have training camps brewing where they want to kill us. That’s my question, when can we get rid of…?,” the man continued.
“We’re going to be looking at a lot of different things,” Trump responded. “A lot of people are saying that, a lot of people are saying bad things are happening out there.”
