Watch: Gun Wielding Anti-Gay Pastor Gets Booed For Conservative Parenting Ideology On Gender Roles

An anti-gay pastor who uses guns when arguing against same-sex marriage and progressive parenting ideas gets humiliated by a panel of physicians and a TV studio audience over his beliefs.

Depending on the day, Joshua Feuerstein describes himself as either a pastor or an ex-pastor, but the one thing you really need to know about him you can learn from this video he posted to Facebook, where he literally screams as he tells his 1.8 million Facebook followers falsehoods about same-sex marriage, then pulls out what appears to be a semi-automatic rifle and tells them, “It’s time that we finally take a stand and say no more. We’re not backing up any further.”

Here are a few screenshots from that video:

So it should come as no surprise that Feuerstein responded in a similar fashion to the viral video one proud father posted praising and supporting his son’s choice of a Little Mermaid doll. Feuerstein posted a video slamming Mikki Willis, calling him, “guy who has no cojones, who needs to grow a pair and be a dad and train a child.” As he’s attacking Willis in the video, Feuerstein shows his three young children, including his son who is shooting off a handgun. He says he’s being “gender neutral” by teaching all his young children how to shoot, and calls that “gun control.”

As you can see in the two above videos from CBS’s daytime talk show, “The Doctors,” Feuerstein and Willis face off, with Willis appearing calm, sane, and rational, even praising Feuerstein for having a conversation with him via email. Feuerstein, on the other hand, appears dwarfed by Willis’ positive demeanor and parenting skills.

The show’s panel of experts, four doctors, take turns chastising Feuerstein, very respectfully, for his conservative parenting practices and Christian beliefs on traditional gender roles.

“As somebody who studies children,” one guest co-host tells the gun-happy pastor, “and works with them in schools I know that if we can nurture children for who they are they will find their own paths.”

“You cannot mold someone’s sexuality,” Dr. Lisa Masterson warns Feuerstein.

“I think it comes down to this,” Dr. Travis Stock concludes. “Your right as a parent, you do shape your children. But there is a big difference between telling you children to stay from, say, drugs, ‘don’t drink and drive,’ and picking out a mermaid doll. So, my issue is… I understand your ideology. I get it. And everyone can have their own choice in life, in terms of what ideology they follow.”

At the end, Dr. Andrew Ordon, a plastic surgeon, says, “Guess what? I played with my sister’s dolls and her doll house and now look at me.”

The audience, however, in both the videos posted above, is less kind, loudly booing him when he shares his utterly offensive beliefs.

Hemant Mehta, the Friendly Atheist, who first posted the video, calls the public takedown of Feuerstein “beautiful,” as does Raw Story’s Tom Boggioni.

We couldn’t agree more.
