Josh Duggar, just days after admitting to an addiction to pornography, has just checked into rehab.Â
Josh Duggar is in rehab. The anti-gay former “family values” advocate who admitted to sexually molesting five young girls when he was a teen, and last week admitted to cheating on his wife and having a “secret addiction” to pornography, “checked into a rehab facility yesterday,” TMZ first reported.
Indeed, on the Duggar family’s official website, Jim Bob and Michelle have released yet another statement.
“We are so thankful for the outpouring of love, care and prayers for our family during this most difficult situation with Josh,” it begins, before admonishing their oldest son.

“As parents we are so deeply grieved by our son’s decisions and actions. His wrong choices have deeply hurt his precious wife and children and have negatively affected so many others. He has also brought great insult to the values and faith we hold dear.”
“Yesterday Josh checked himself into a long-term treatment center,” the Duggar parents state. “For him it will be a long journey toward wholeness and recovery. We pray that in this he comes to complete repentance and sincere change.”
“In the meantime, we will be offering our love, care and devoted support to Anna and our grandchildren as she also receives counsel and help for her own heart and future. During this time we continue to look to God—He is our rock and comfort. We ask for your continued prayers for our entire family.”
The name of the treatment center is not mentioned, nor is the type of treatment.

This news comes after the Ashley Madison leak revealed Josh had two paid accounts while working as the executive director of an anti-gay lobbying group attached to an organization listed as a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center.
In his apology last week, Josh Duggar stated, “I have been the biggest hypocrite ever. While espousing faith and family values, I have secretly over the last several years been viewing pornography on the internet and this became a secret addiction and I became unfaithful to my wife.”
“The last few years, while publicly stating I was fighting against immorality in our county, in my heart I had allowed Satan to build a fortress that no one knew about.”
Both those statements were changed quickly across a period of a few hours, to something far less revealing.
Reports have also claimed or suggested Duggar kept a Facebook page under a different name, with which he communicated with strippers. He allegedly may also have had another account at a different dating site, OkCupid.
