‘Go Back To Univision’: Anchor Jorge Ramos Ejected From Donald Trump Press Conference (Video)

Donald Trump was displeased with Jorge Ramos when the Univision anchor tried to ask him a question about immigration.

At a press conference in Dubuque, Iowa early Tuesday evening, Univision and Fusion anchor Jorge Ramos was ejected from the event after Donald Trump told him to sit down because he hadn’t been called upon. Ramos, a Mexican-American who has won eight Emmy Awards for his journalism and is one of five of the “World’s Most Influential People” this year, according to TIME magazine, has been a regular thorn in Trump’s side.

“Sit down, you weren’t called. Go back to Univision,” Trump told Ramos (image, below, circled) as the Univision anchor attempted to ask a question about the GOP frontrunner’s immigration plans.

“You can’t just stand up and scream,” Trump told a reporter later. “He’s obviously a very emotional person. So I have no problem with it,” Trump added of Ramos’ removal by a security guard. “He just stands up and starts screaming so maybe he’s at fault,” Trump insisted.

The real estate mogul also told reporters that Ramos was “out of order,” and said, “I would take his question in two seconds.” He added that Ramos could return later and ask another question if he did so politely. Ramos did return.

Later during the press conference, Ramos stood to ask a question and Trump said that he ‘remembered” him. “It’s good to have you back,” Trump said, as if nothing had happened.

That exchange was rather lengthy and Trump tried hard to control the conversation, especially as Ramos attempted to explain why Trump’s claim that the 14th Amendment does not protect children of immigrants who have entered the country without documentation.
