George Zimmerman Goes On Racist And Homophobic Twitter Tirade In Wake Of Virginia Shooting

George Zimmerman apparently went a Twitter tirade in the wake of the double homicide of two Virginia reporters.

The man who shot and killed unarmed 18-year old Trayvon Martin in 2012 apparently has been on a Twitter rampage since news broke that a Black, gay man shot and killed two Virginia reporters during a live on-air segment yesterday morning.

George Zimmerman, now 31-years old, has teamed up with a Florida gun shop owner recently in the news for declaring his store a “Muslim free zone.” 

On Twitter, an account bearing Zimmerman’s name and photos of him posted a barrage of homophobic and racist tweets, and seemed to delight in those who criticized him for it.

As The Advocate points out, President Obama in fact, “addressed the Virginia killings in several statements with local media over the past 24 hours, notes USA Today, saying the death of two journalists ‘breaks my heart’ and using the shooting as an opportunity to call for ‘common sense’ gun legislation to address the fact that ‘the number of people who die from gun-related incidents around this country dwarfs any deaths that happen through terrorism.'” 

Zimmerman also posted images of the man who shot and killed Virginia reporters Alison Parker and Adam Ward, along with an image of the Michael Brown, and used them to attack President Obama. 

The President, during an unscripted and emotional press conference days after Trayvon Martin was killed, said, “If I had a son, he’d look like Trayvon.”

He also quoted President Barack Obama and called him an “Ignorant Baboon.”

And Zimmerman also sent this disturbing message:
