The U.S. beat Japan 5-2 Sunday night, and as the whistle blew, Abby Wambach rushed to the stands to kiss her wife, Sarah Huffman.
“I’m actually at a loss for words with how this whole thing went down,” Wombach told ESPN. “I’m just so proud to be on this team, and proud to be a part of something that in my opinion is really special.”
