Sweet Cakes Baker Warns Christians ‘Not Protected’ – Will Have To Fly Gay Pride Flag Above Churches

So much for not being anti-gay, just not wanting to violate their Christian faith by baking a wedding cake. Sweet Cakes owner delivers anti-gay rant.

Aaron and Melissa Klein are the owners of Sweet Cakes by Melissa, the Oregon bakery that recently, after a two-year legal battle, lost an anti-gay discrimination case and were ordered to pay a same-sex couples $135,000 after refusing to bake them a wedding cake.

The Kleins have repeatedly insisted they are not anti-gay, they just didn’t want to violate their faith by baking a cake for a wedding of a same-sex couple.

“There was never any intention on hurting these two girls, ever,” Melissa told The Heritage Foundation’s Daily Signal. “We’re not those type of people,” she insisted.

“We’ve been mischaracterized,” Aaron Klein added. “We’ve served gays on many occasions.”

The Kleins have been martyrs for the cause, appearing onstage at CPAC, the Conservative Political Action Convention, with Melissa literally crying when describing how diligent she is when taking a wedding cake order, while insisting they have nothing against gay people.

So much for that.

Aaron Klein last week appeared on the radio show of an anti-gay Christian activist so extreme NCRM rarely covers his insane claims.

“This is the gaystapo,” Rick Wiles of Trunews told Klein. “This is just like the Nazi homosexuals in the 1930s. It was a militant homosexual network that took over Germany,” he falsely claimed, “that’s what this is, and they are going to silence all opposition if people do not stand up and put a stop to this stuff.”

Rather than denounce the apocalyptic and fanatical rant, Klein opted to continue the narrative.

“The people who work in the church building, the people who sit in the pews on Sunday are not protected,” Kline claimed. “You will have the rainbow flag flying above your church,” suggesting to not “will be considered hate.”

Of course, that’s false too.

“There is no difference,” Wiles continued, to which Klein says, “Yeah.”

“Rainbow flag, Nazi swastika, it’s the same thing,” Wiles lies. “It’s the same spirit behind it.”

Wiles then asks Klein a very specific question.

“Aaron, is Sweet Cakes by Melissa still in business?”

“We’re not actively doing business at this point in time,” Klein responds.

What the Kleins did was change the name of their business from Sweet Cakes by Melissa, to Sweet Cakes.

You can visit their website and order a wedding cake.

But this deception allows the Kleins and their supporters to claim that they were forced out of business because of gay people, a false narrative.

And despite supporters donating well over $400,000, at minimum, to the Kleins, Arron was quick to tell people they could leave a comment on their fundraising page if they make a donation.

Anti-gay discrimination can be very lucrative.
