Secretary Of State?: President Trump Would ‘Love’ To Have Sarah Palin Join His Administration

“She’s a special person.” Listen to Donald Trump ramble on and on about how great Sarah Palin is.

Donald Trump is a huge fan of Sarah Palin.

“One of the things I admire about her is she took so much disgusting stuff – lies, and disgusting lies. She handles them so well, she’s tough and smart and a great woman,” the billionaire GOP frontrunner told Mama Grizzly Radio‘s “The Palin Update,” on Monday.

Host Kevin Scholla asked Trump, “if there is a Trump administration, could you see picking up the phone, giving the governor a call and picking her brain on some things, or perhaps having her along in some official capacity?”

“I’d love that,” Trump said. “Because she really is somebody that knows what’s happening, and she’s a special person, she’s really a special person. I think people know that. She’s got a following that’s unbelievable.”

Trump acknowledged that just like him, “she’s got some people who don’t exactly love us,” he said.

“Everybody loves her,” Trump continued, attacking his GOP rivals as “weak” and “ineffective” leaders “to a degree that’s actually almost hard to believe.”

Voters, Trump added, “like the Sarah Palin kind of strength, you just don’t see very much of it anymore,” he lamented.

So, which Cabinet position would Palin be best suited for?

Palin, you’ll remember, is a former Republican Vice Presidential candidate, former (and half-term) Governor of Alaska, former chair of the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission, former Mayor of Wasilla, former “Miss Congeniality,” former sportscaster, former head of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, former star of “Sarah Palin’s Alaska,” and twice-former Fox News contributor.

Secretary of Education?

Secretary of Energy might be good, as she has had to deal with a lot of oil and gas issues.

Secretary of the Interior, given Alaska has a lot of national parks might be a good fit too.

There’s always Secretary of State, since she can see Russia from her house…
