Roy Moore: America’s ‘Birth Certificate’ Says ‘This Country Was Founded Upon God’ (Video)

Watch as Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore delivers an anti-gay speech and tells a right wing religious extremist group that America was found on God.

Roy Moore has not stopped his campaign against same-sex marriage, if anything, the Alabama Chief Justice his increased his attacks. This weekend, Moore delivered a fire-and-brimstone speech – and poem – to what the largest Alabama news outlet called “a radical anti-abortion and anti-gay rights group.”

“I’m sorry but this country was not founded on Muhammad. It was not founded on Buddha. It was not founded on secular humanism. It was founded on God,” Moore insisted. “And anybody who would argue that proposition argues against the whole history of our country – and our birth certificate.”

“If we don’t know God we don’t know our country and we don’t know our Constitution,” Moore also insisted. “It’s about one nation under God.”

Moore then unleashed his attack on same-sex marriage.

“In 2015 when they make same-sex marriage a fundamental right they put actions behind it,” Moore claimed. “They say every probate judge must issue a license; every cake baker must bake a cake; every photographer must take a picture; every decorator must arrange flowers. What I am trying to tell you is this: we just suffered a loss of religious liberty.”

And then, focused on Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy:

“So we have one person who has entered his judgment that it should be allowed, created a right which didn’t exist and is now saying the rest of the country has to recognize it and every individual in this country has to accept it,” Moore said, warning, “there will be consequences.”

The group Moore addressed, AL.com writes, “is a fundamentalist Christian conservative organization that opposes abortion, same-sex marriage and non-Christian religions. OSA has been listed as a hate group by some organizations.”

Moore, who twisted truth (then was forced to backtrack) to claim the Supreme Court’s marriage ruling was not in effect in his home state of Alabama two weeks ago, actually acknowledged their extremism during his speech. “We appreciate what you do,” Moore  added.

Moore closed with a crazy poem, which you can see towards the end, and read at AL.com.
