Why Caitlyn Jenner’s ‘I Am Cait’ Premiere Was Great (Video)

Caitlyn Jenner’s new reality TV series premiered Sunday night, and it was great – here’s why. Some clips, too.

The premiere of Caitlyn Jenner‘s new E! docu-series “I Am Cait” was great.

Jenner was genuine, real, accessible, but perhaps most importantly, made very clear she wants to use this platform and her privilege – which she readily acknowledges most people in her situation do not have – to help the transgender community. 

She begins the show, and repeats at times, that education about the transgender community is vital, and she wants to makes sure she is an advocate for trans people.

Whether or not you’re a fan of reality TV (I am not, except for shows like “So You Think You Can Dance,”) this isn’t just a reality TV show. 

It’s educational.
