UPDATED: After Gay Couple Files Lawsuit, Texas Clerk Citing Religion Issues Marriage License

A Texas same-sex couple has finally been issued a marriage license, after filing a federal lawsuit this morning. Will they pursue legal remedies?

It took eleven days, two lawyers, the media, and the filing of a federal lawsuit, but Jim Cato and Joe Stapleton of Grandbury, Texas have just been issued a marriage license. Hood County clerk Katie Lang had citied her deeply held religious beliefs when she first denied the couple their legal right to marry, then relented by claiming the proper forms would not be available for three weeks. Those forms are easily downloaded from the Internet.

CBS in Dallas reports the couple have been issued the license, but are unsure if they will drop their lawsuit:
