‘As Phony As It Gets’: Rush Limbaugh Mocks Gay Teen And Hillary Clinton’s Support Of His Viral Photo

Listen to Rush Limbaugh’s harsh words for a worried gay New York City teen and Hillary Clinton.

The Facebook page Humans of New York was created by and is run by a very talented photographer. Brandon Stanton’s almost 14 million Facebook fans agree.

As many folks know, Stanton posted a beautiful photo to Facebook of a young teen, who told him, “I’m homosexual and I’m afraid about what my future will be and that people won’t like me.”

Many people commented on the photo – nearly 60,000 now – including Hillary Clinton and Ellen DeGeneres.

Rush Limbaugh (who has a mere 1.8 million Facebook fans) on Monday decided to mock the teenager on his radio show. He also decided to try to use Hillary Clinton’s very supportive comments to the young gay man against her.

“Where the Clintons are concerned, there are no coincidences with the Clintons,” Limbaugh claimed. “There just aren’t any. And I feel very confident and safe speculating that this whole thing is as phony as it gets,” the 64-year old conservative pundit insisted.

“We’re supposed to believe a photographer walking the streets of New York City sees this kid crying on his stoop, then takes his picture?,” Limbaugh asked, clearly oblivious to the fact that that’s exactly what Stanton does, hence the name of his Facebook page, website, and book, Humans of New York.

Limbaugh then mocks the teen.

“And then the kid says to the photographer, ‘I’m crying about my future because I’m gay and I’m really worried about my future and I don’t think I’m going to be loved and it’s going to be really hard out there.’ The kid looks like he’s 8 or 9. You know who the kid looks like? The kid looks like the kid that was in the gay pride parade last week — picture we showed, his mom proudly had him out there dressed up in some kind of rainbow colored drag queen get-up with a Roman crown of whatever on his head. This kid looks exactly like that kid. I’m not saying it’s the same kid. I’m just saying that’s what this 8-year-old looks like.”

“Anyway, it’s just a little too convenient,” Limbaugh concluded.

It’s one thing to attack a presidential candidate with admitted speculation, but you know you’ve lost all your humanity when you stoop so low as to mock a young teenager whose worried about his future – especially worried because of people exactly like Rush Limbaugh.
