Duggar Daughter: ‘Josh Was A Young Boy In Puberty And A Little Too Curious About Girls’ (Video)

Watch this preview of an interview that will air tonight, as two of the Duggar daughters defend their brother Josh to Fox News.

Duggar daughters Jessa Seewald and Jill Dillard, both now married, spoke with Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly in an interview that airs tonight.

Both women acknowledge that they were victims, and use that word, but both say they support their brother, Josh Duggar, despite his actions of sexual molestation when he was a teenager.

“Josh was a boy, a young boy in puberty, and a little too curious about girls,” Jessa says. “And that got him into some trouble. And he made some bad choices, but, really, the extent of it was mild — inappropriate touching on fully clothed victims, most of it while [the] girls were sleeping.”

That’s not entirely correct, according to police reports in which Jim Bob Duggar, their father, said that Josh told him “had been touching [redacted] on the breast and vaginal areas while [they] were sleeping,” as the Huffington Post points out. The police reports also include allegations that Josh, (whose name is redacted but In Touch reports they confirmed was the elder Duggar son,) “had touched [redacted’s] breasts and vaginal area,” and that he “had put [his] hand under [redacted’s] dress.”

“I do want to speak up in his defense against people who are calling him a child molester or a pedophile or a rapist, some people are saying,” she adds. “I’m like, ‘That is so overboard and a lie really.’ I mean people get mad at me for saying that, but I can say this because I was one of the victims.”

She also says, “The system that was set up to protect kids, both those who make stupid mistakes or have problems like this in their life and the ones that are affected by those choices. It’s greatly failed.”

And sister Jill, through tears, laments, “We’re victims. They can’t do this to us,” speaking about the media coverage.
