Dropped From Fox News Again, Sarah Palin Releases New Video, Collects Email Addresses, Slams Gov’t.

Fox News has dropped Sarah Palin yet again, so now the former Alaska governor is working to shore up her mailing list – and her base.

What’s a multi-millionaire reality TV star and former GOP vice presidential nominee to do now that Fox News has once again not renewed her contract? Why, try to shore up her importance and broaden base, naturally.

Palin’s Fox News contract was not renewed and as of June 1 she’s now a free agent, so to speak.

Of course, she still has her Sarah Palin Channel website, and her gig, “Amazing America with Sarah Palin” on the Sportsman Channel, and Sarah Palin’s Alaska on TLC, but the former Alaska half-term governor wants to be perceived as relevant and an important political force, a kingmaker, if you will, so she’s just released this new video of Republicans saying how important she still is:

Politico, which first announced the news today, labeled the 51-year old politician “bombastic,” reported that Fox “executives consider her less relevant now,” and notes Palin “will announce a new publishing project soon.”

Palin, in addition to trying to position herself as a vital and integral part of the Republican party’s election machine, is broadening her email list (i.e., fundraising list) through her usual anti-government pandering.

“Since politicians just can’t leave well enough alone, and evidently have nothing else to do, they’ve decided to create a new $10 bill featuring a woman,” Palin wrote last night on Facebook. “Let’s help them pick a strong and proud role model of the American spirit! Vote here on some of our suggestions for whose face should grace the new bill. We’ll reveal our winner on Friday, July 3rd.”

So, Palin is totally against changing the $10 bill, but she’s totally OK with profiting off it.

Her supporters who “vote” are merely giving her their email addresses so she can spam them later for money.

The choices Palin offers: Harriet Tubman, Clara Barton, Pocahontas, Abigail Adams, and Susan B. Anthony.
