Breaking: SC Governor Nikki Haley Says ‘Time To Move The Flag From The Capitol Grounds’
Republican Governor Nikki Haley has just called for the Confederate flag to be removed from the State House.
After a 21-year old white nationalist terrorist massacred nine Black parishioners in a Charleston church last week, calls for the removal of the Confederate flag that by law flies in front of the South Carolina State House have increased exponentially.
Minutes ago, GOP Gov. Nikki Haley, flanked by Democratic U.S.Congressman James Clyburn and Republican U.S. Senator Tim Scott, called for the flag to be removed from the capitol grounds.
“It’s time to move the flag from the Capitol grounds,” Haley announced. “The time has come.”

Also in attendance were GOP U.S. Congressman Mark Sanford, GOP U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham, and GOP Chairman Reince Priebus.
“My hope is, by removing a symbol that divides us, we can move forward as a state in harmony.” Gov. Haley said. “We are not going to let this symbol divide us any longer.”
The Governor says she will ask the legislature to pass the necessary laws to removed the flag, and will call them back into session should they fail to do so.

Notice Nikki Haley made sure to throw a jab at Baltimore and Ferguson at the very beginning of her speech.

Nikki Haley is looking too pleased with herself + SC here. It took the assassination of nine African Americans to do the right thing

Nikki Haley is not a hero. She is a coward whose pandering to white racists has suddenly become politically harmful. That’s all this is…
