Billionaire Republican Donald Trump just announced he will run for the presidency of the United States of America.
Speaking from Trump Tower in New York City, Donald Trump surprised everyone minutes ago by announcing he is running for president.
Trump, who originally was to announce later this evening, was introduced by his daughter, Ivanka Trump, who lauded him as a man who leads by example and says what he means and means what he says.Â
Trump becomes the twelfth Republican to announce his run for the White House.
In his speech, he asked when the last time is that America won? He accused Mexico of sending “rapists” to America.

“They’re not their best people. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing rapists.”
He also accused China of beating America in trade deals – although he claimed he beats China in trade deals.
“We have a disaster called the big lie: Obamacare,” Trump claimed, and falsely explained how it works. He also claimed the Obamacare website “doesn’t work” to this day. “It is going to be amazingly destructive.” Trump insisted Obamacare must be repealed.

Trump launded his golf courses as “the best in the world,” and said he wished President Obama would spend more time there.
Politicians “will never make America great again,” he said, adding they are “controlled by the lobbyists.”
“I am officially running for President of the United States, and we are going to make our country great again.”
