Breaking: Bobby Jindal, America’s Least Popular Governor, Officially Announces Presidential Run

Bobby Jindal, the very unpopular Republican governor of Louisiana, has just formally announced he is running for president.

President Barack Obama may not be well liked in Louisiana, but he’s more popular than the state’s own governor.

Bobby Jindal just announced he is running to become the next President of the United State of America. The thirteenth major GOP candidate to do so, Jindal made the announcement via social media and a series of very awkward videos that apparently are supposed to appear unrehearsed, with the Governor talking about running with his wife and children, filmed by a secret hidden camera in a tree top.

In the first video, Jindal tells his children that “mommy and daddy” have decided he will run for the White House. The response from his children is less than enthusiastic, but mirrors that of most Americans. Jindal compared to other GOP candidates – announced or likely – is polling at .8 percent.

Jindal has been among the most anti-gay, anti-women, pro-religious extremism governors and likely presidential candidates for several years. He has tried to burnish his religious right bonafides by rubbing elbows with the Duck Dynasty clan, the National Organization For Marriage, the Family Research Council and especially its president, Tony Perkins.
