SNL: Michael Keaton Leads Spoof CNN Reenactment Of Indiana ‘Religious Freedom’ Law In Action

Watch as Saturday Night Live hilariously mocks CNN’s reenactments big time, with a spoof on how Indiana’s anti-gay “religious freedom” law works.

SNL brilliantly trolled CNN last night in a mock news segment on the Germanwings airplane crash, the Iran nuclear weapons deal and Indiana and Arkansas’ “religious freedom” law – using truly terrible animated graphics, Muppet-like puppets, and a “performance art group” starring guest host Michael Keaton, and SNL regulars Kenan Thompson and Aidy Bryant.

Cecily Strong played CNN anchor Brooke Baldwin, and after explaining the plane crash animation and the John Kerry puppet, segued into the Indiana and Arkansas “religious freedom” story.

“We couldn’t get a CNN reporter in either of those states, but we might have something even better,” Baldwin told viewers. “A local performance art group has agreed to give us a general sense of what’s been happening in both those states.”

Watch the entire clip, it’s hilarious.

And make sure you get to the end – Hillary clinton’s email deletion is re-enacted as well…
