America Could Have An Actual Socialist President: Bernie Sanders To Announce White House Run
Senator Bernie Sanders, a self-described socialist, will announce on Thursday he is entering the 2016 presidential race.
Sanders, the longest-serving Independent in Congress, hails from Vermont and would enter the Democratic primaries, being the first to officially challenge Hillary Clinton.
“Sanders’ basic message will be that the middle class in America has been decimated in the past two decades while wealthy people and corporations have flourished,” Vermont Public Radio first reported today.
Sanders is not as popular as Clinton, but no candidate on either side is.

Sanders will appear on MSNBC’s “The Ed Show” on Thursday, as he often does, presumably to discuss the announcement.

Obviously I have some philosophical differences with Bernie Sanders but I’m really glad he’s running. Enough milquetoast dems and repubs

Bernie Sanders is infinitely more rational and qualified than all of the GOP 2016 candidates combined, which is why the press mocks him.
