Watch: SNL Mercilessly Mocks Ben Carson For Saying Prison Proves Being Gay Is A Choice
Saturday Night Live’s “Weekend Update” anchors took great pleasure in reporting on Dr. Ben Carson’s outrageous claims about homosexuality.
This week Republican and likely presidential candidate Ben Carson stunned the nation not only by claiming falsely that homosexuality is a choice, but by using a ludicrous example to try to prove his point.
Carson told CNN that prison proves that being gay is a choice, because straight people go in and come out gay.
SNL “Weekend Update†anchors Michael Che and Colin Jost had a great time reporting this news, over and over and over again.
“Dr. Ben Carson, a neurosurgeon, said that homosexuality is a choice because many people go to prison straight, but when they come out, they’re gay,” Che said. “Kind of like how in that last sentence, Carson went in as a neurosurgeon and came out as a complete idiot.”
Then Jost was up, offering his report: “Dr. Carson, a neurosurgeon, said last week that homosexuality was a choice. Dr. Carson made the comments to himself — over and over — in the men’s locker room.”
We won’t give the rest away. Enjoy!
