Look: Former Dolce & Gabbana Model Madonna Offers Beautiful Slap Down To Dolce & Gabbana

Every once in a while Madonna makes a statement that you just can’t ignore.

For their Fall 2010 campaign, Dolce & Gabbana chose celebrity icon Madonna to be the face of their collection. In beautiful black and white photographs by Steven Klein, Madonna exemplified the story Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana wanted to tell the world.

“Capturing an Italian family lead by the matriarchal figure of Madonna, the fall campaign from Dolce & Gabbana tells the story of a close knit family through the lens of Steven Klein,” one fashion website reported. “From a family portrait to a meal at the table, the images show a new direction for the Italian luxury brand.”

So perhaps it’s no surprise that Madonna chose to respond to Dolce & Gabbana’s ugly remarks about IVF babies and same-sex families, since she was the face of their message about families.

Madonna took to Instagram, the same platform Stefano Gabbana spent the weekend on playing victim when the world denounced their anti-gay comments.

She posted this photo to Instagram, writing:

All babies contain a soul however they come to this earth and their families. There is nothing synthetic about a soul!! So how can we dismiss IVF and surrogacy? Every soul comes to us to teach us a lesson. God has his hand in everything even technology! We are arrogant to think Man does anything on his own. As above so below! Think before you speak.,,,,,,,,,,,❤️#livingforlove

Well played, Madonna!
