While the Evangelical Christian students were loud and cheering publicly as Cruz delivered his “imagine” speech, many were not pleased privately.

And by “privately,” we mean, anonymously, but publicly.
For real responses to Ted Cruz’s speech, The Washington Post and other news outlets mined Yik Yak, an anonymous hyper-local social media app similar to Whisper or PostSecret where people share their feelings, in secret. And for some students, those feelings were anything but positive.
